Community Research and Engagement Network (COREN) Collaboration Café

Date posted: 7th February 2024

"Our NEW bi-monthly online Collaboration Cafes are an opportunity to explore, in a practical action focussed session, the benefits of working with each other. We welcome anyone with an interest in health and care research including practitioners, VCFSE organisations, community representatives, academics and the public. We may not be able to provide tea and cake in an online session, but we can help to connect you to others across the North West coast who want to work together on research which will impact where it is needed the most.

The theme of this Collaboration Café will be the Cost of Living crisis. More people than ever are struggling with the cost of living. The cost of food, fuel, rents and mortgages have increased, meaning people have a higher expenditure than they used to. We know this is impacting on health and wellbeing in the North West region and that the wider determinants of health are being exacerbated.

Come together with others to look at what the priorities are for research in this area and how we can turn ideas in to action.
If you are interested and would like to know more then please don’t hesitate to get in touch via c.selby@lancaster.ac.uk to find out more and receive the link to attend.
