Hosted by the NIHR ARC NWC Community Research and Engagement Network (CoREN) with The Well Communities CIC.
Traditional employment, training and enterprise interventions are delivered to people not with them. The Well Communities CIC innovative Grow Your Own ETE pathways builds rapport from the onset and empowers people to obtain a functional mastery of their own health ownership.
In this free lunchtime webinar, Gerald Pickersgill and Phillip Parkinson will talk about this work, and how important it is for the community to feel that changes are being made as a result of sharing their lived experience. Following the recent successful CoREN event (hosted by Blackburn with Darwen Healthy Living) on incorporating lived experience into service or research delivery, this lunchtime webinar follows up on how to work with those with lived experience on a specific project around ETE pathways.
This event is for anyone who wants to understand better how to be authentic in incorporating the voices of lived experience into their work whether as a researcher, policy maker or someone who develops and delivers services to the community.
