"Emerging Futures works across the country to support people affected by homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. Our greatest resource is our people, so we also offer generous annual leave, pension, employee assistance programme and other benefits.

Our Female Recovery Enhanced Supported Housing (FRESH) project provides a safe space for women to begin their recovery and behaviour change journey. We provide a safe, nurturing and homely environment, whilst building empathy, trust, and mutual understanding of each other’s experiences. Our staff team will provide bespoke and specialist trauma informed support to residents accessing the project. Residents of our project have been subjected to abuse and trauma-based experiences from men and therefore all applicants must be of the same sex as the residents only.

About The Role

As a Team Leader, you will be providing strong, visible leadership and direct line management to the team responsible for the delivery of our FRESH project. You will take responsibility for the overall management of the tenancy, recovery and wellbeing support provided to the residents within our supported housing.

The post holder will also work to strengthen external partnerships with community agencies and resources, including other supported housing providers, health and treatment agencies and blue light services.

About you 

  • You will have some experience working in a management role and leading a team, but we will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way.
  • You are compassionate, energetic, reliable, and committed to improving the health and wellbeing of those experiencing trauma.
  • Patience and resilience will come naturally to you. You should have good interpersonal and listening skills as you will be supporting people with challenging complex needs.
  • You will have experience of supporting women with specialist needs such as trauma, substance misuse, domestic abuse.
  • Above all, you will be enthusiastic and have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives
