MIND Lancashire, VCFSE Sector Engagement - Mental Health Services

Date posted: 7th August 2023

Chris Bell, Project lead, Central and West coordinator.

"I am from Lancashire Mind, and we have been commissioned to collate the opinions and impacts of the Voluntary, Charity, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector on supporting people’s mental health.

This opportunity, although may appear duplicative of some previous work, this is to further build on this engagement, ensuring that providers large and small are enabled to participate in the design and delivery of adult community mental health services for Lancashire and South Cumbria in the future.

The model of community mental health needs to be co-produced in partnership with all partners across the system (Mental health providers, Primary Care, Social Care and VCSFE).

Our aim within this phase of the project is gather a comprehensive understanding of what is happening and by whom, to support mental health in Lancashire and South Cumbria within the VCFSE sector.

Following on from this, we will be holding collaboration events and focus groups as well as conducting more in-depth surveys, before creating a report and presentation outlining the current landscape and the level of support being offered by VCFSE sector organisations, its impacts, finishing with recommendations and potential collaborations between VCFSE and public sectors.

For us to be able to do this, could you please complete and share the survey below to any appropriate networks. Please note the closing date is Monday 28th August."
